Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Big 4 Championships winners announced

(PRESS RELEASE) -- For the ninth consecutive year, the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open concluded with the crowning of The Big 4 champions at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

Unique to South Florida, The Big 4 is a collection of four tournament finales that feature staggered structures, timed so the events play down simultaneously. This year’s four primary events boasted combined prize pool guarantees of $5.5 million. With 1,759 entries in Big 4 events, the total cash payout exceeded the guarantees, topping more than $7.2 million.

The winners earned more than $1.2 million, with Paul Snead winning the SHRPO Championship and claiming $529,428. This year’s SHRPO Championship drew 865 entries, boasting a total prize pool of more than $4.1 million.

SHRPO Championship Final Table Results:
1st: Paul Snead (Kings Park, N.Y.) – $529,428 + SHRPO Trophy
2nd: Clemen Deng (Portland, Ore.) – $512,522
3rd: Brandon Kessous (Sarasota, Fla.) – $310,000
4th: Naing Jack Thu (Davie, Fla.) – $230,000
5th: Billy Pilossoph (Presto, Pa.) – $175,000
6th: Tyler Montoya (Las Vegas, Nev.) – $133,000
7th: Loni Hui (Staten Island, N.Y.) – $103,000
8th: Sterling Savill (Dover, Fla.) - $80,000
9th: Kevin Schulz (Chicago, Ill.) - $63,000

The other Big 4 winners include:

- Kevin Ordet (Miami, Fla.) won the $3,000 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em for $190,800
- Benjamin Moschel (Baltimore, Md.), won the $1,100 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em for $89,800
- Bryn Kenney (Long Beach, N.Y.) won the $25,500 High Roller NLH for $487,990

This year’s SHRPO kicked off with the $400 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (NLH), which had 5,870 entries. The event nearly doubled its $1 million guarantee for a final prize pool of more than $1.9 million. Winner Karl Creazzo (Auburn, Ala.) was awarded the title and cashed for $146,829.

Poker action will return to Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood with the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open from Wednesday, 20 November to Tuesday, 3 December.
