Seminole gambling deal passes Florida House panel

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Florida's gambling agreement with the Seminole Tribe was approved by lawmakers on Thursday, The Miami Herald reported.

The agreement gives the Tribe rights on three card games at three casinos for five years and Slot III machines at seven casinos for twenty years, the report detailed.

The state will receive a minimum of a billion dollars over five years under this agreement, The Miami Herald said.
