Second Robbery At Atlantic Casino Casino Hotel Room4 May 2004ATLANTIC CITY – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: `` … A 49-year-old Clifton woman survived an encounter at knifepoint Friday with a suspect police believe stalks gamblers on casino floors before following them to their hotel rooms and robbing them. ``The latest incident happened at 4:11 p.m. Friday on the 12th floor of the South Tower at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, Lt. Michael Tullio said Monday. ``After assaulting and robbing the woman, whom police identified as Eileen Yanik, the suspect forced the victim into the hotel room's bathroom, telling her he would kill her if she followed as he fled. ``Police believe the same man robbed a 78-year-old Philadelphia man in his room at Resorts Atlantic City, leaving him with a broken rib after taking $656 in casino winnings.
