Seaplane Shuttles Guests to Louisiana Casino

LOUISIANA – As reported by the Sulphur Southwest Daily News: "L'Auberge du Lac Hotel & Casino, a $365 million property just opened in Lake Charles, is now the first ever casino property in the state to shuttle guests to its resort destination via amphibious seaplane. The plane is ferrying passengers directly to a unique room-side dock at L'Auberge in unrivaled comfort and style.

"The Cessna seaplane whisks passengers primarily from Houston to Lake Charles. Service is also available from Dallas and the San Antonio/Austin area. Two dedicated pilots enable round-the-clock flight operations.

"…The amphibious nature of the aircraft allows it to put down on Contraband Bayou, the body of water fronting L'Auberge. It then taxi's a short distance along the waterway to deliver passengers right up to a specially designed dock for easy access to L'Auberge guest rooms, villas and the casino.
