Scotland Plans for Super Casino

SCOTLAND – As reported by the Scotsman: "Plans are under way to build a super-casino in Scotland to rival some of the biggest and best gambling dens in Las Vegas.

"Managers of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow are in talks to build the world-class casino on the Clyde as part of a £350 million (US$653.6 million) regeneration plan.

"…Sun International, famous for building the opulent Sun City resort in South Africa, is among companies that have submitted outline plans to the SECC.

"Another known to be interested is South African-owned Kerzner International which is already pressing ahead with plans for a £300 million casino on the site of the ill-fated Millennium Dome in London…"
