Scientific Games to Buy WMS

NEW YORK -- In a significant deal, Scientific Games Corp will buy WMS Industries, Bloomberg reported.

Scientific Games Corp. will pay $1.5 billion to acquire the company, the report said.

Shares in Scientific Games rose on the news of the acquisition plan, the Bloomberg report stated.
