Schlichter remorseful, blames addiction

OHIO -- Art Schlichter, the former Ohio State quarterback, is back behind bars and remorseful over his latest round of troubles, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

In an interview from jail he told The Columbus Dispatch he would "give anything to make it right," the report said.

In the first of what could be further charges, Schlichter is alleged to have swindled a widow out of a million dollars to fund his gambling addiction, the Columbus Dispatch said.
