Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort to offer lottery scratch tickets starting next week19 November 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, will begin selling lottery scratch tickets on 25 November at 5 a.m. at the gift shop located near the main entrance. Powerball and Mega Millions tickets will be available beginning early 2020. The first $80 million of annual net lottery proceeds statewide will benefit infrastructure needs. After a ten-year period, lottery proceed collections up to $80 million will go into the state’s general fund. Any net proceeds over $80 million will be sent to the Education Enhancement Fund, which helps fund pre-k and the classroom supply fund. “We are thrilled to see the gaming industry continue to grow in the State of Mississippi,” said Scarlet Pearl CEO LuAnn Pappas. “Our Scarlet Pearl family strives to provide the best gaming experience to our guests by offering the newest slot machines, pari-mutuel betting, scratch-off tickets and more!” |
