Scarlet Pearl Casino celebrates New Year's Eve with live entertainment18 December 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort family invites you to join us for a Sparkling New Year’s Eve as we say goodbye to 2019 and toast the arrival of 2020! The Storyville Stompers, a walking brass band, will provide live entertainment from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on the casino floor, and Hank Berumen will perform from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. at Butler’s Bar & Lounge. At midnight, you are invited to enjoy a champagne toast on the casino floor! The Storyville Stompers, founded in 1981 in New Orleans, have twice won “Best Traditional Brass Band” from the Big Easy Entertainment Awards, and have performed more than 6,000 times in their 37-year existence. They play New Orleans music in the traditional style, and perform regularly at second line parades, parties, and jazz funerals. Hank Berumen writes and performs original music, and also covers roots, classic rock, blues, top 40, and country music. He has won “Best Band Local Coast Style” in the Covey Awards, and regularly performs for clubs and casinos all over the coast. Beruman is from Biloxi. |
