Congress has just passed legislation that will prohibit U.S. Banks and other financial institutions from processing gambling transactions. Once this legislation is signed into law, probably today, financial institutions will be given 270 days to implement these new regulations.

This legislation does not make it illegal for you to fund an online gambling account or to wager online, and only affects U.S. based Banks and financial institutions. However this will mean that as a US citizen your Bank will block you from making deposits to any gaming site located either in the US or outside.
