Saskatchewan casino income rises

SASKATCHEWAN -- As reported by the CBC News: "Saskatchewan's government-owned casinos continue to be big money-makers for the province, generating net income of $43.8 million in the 2007-08 fiscal year.

"According to the annual report of Saskatchewan Gaming Corp., the Crown corporation that runs Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw, SGC had revenues of $119.4 million and operating expenses of $75.6 million. The 2007-08 net income is an increase of about $9 million from the previous year..."
