Saratoga Gaming & Raceway Opens

SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Saratoga Gaming and Raceway, New York's first video gaming property, will hold an official ground breaking ceremony for it's $15 million expansion project on Monday, October 2. The 45,000 square foot addition will include 400 additional video gaming machines, a 300 seat buffet restaurant, and a two-story night club.

Architectural design was completed by Connecticut-based JCJ Architecture, the same firm that designed the original gaming floor and Fortunes restaurant. Buffalo-based LPCiminelli has been selected as general contractor for the project, with construction crews to be supplied by local sub-contractors.

Participating in the official ground breaking ceremony and making comments on Monday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m., are New York Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno; New York Lottery Executive Deputy Director, Susan E. Miller; Saratoga Gaming and Raceway President, Daniel Gerrity; and Executive Vice President and General Manager, Jamie Hartman.
