Santana to perform at Four Winds New Buffalo on Friday, August 157 July 2014NEW BUFFALO, Michigan -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians' Four Winds casinos are pleased to announce an upcoming concert by Santana at Four Winds New Buffalo's Silver Creek Event Center on Friday, August 15, at 9 p.m. Eastern. Tickets for the event can be purchased beginning on Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. Eastern by calling (800)745-3000. Ticket prices start at $100 plus applicable fees. Carlos Santana is one of the world's best guitarists and was cited by Rolling Stone as #15 on the magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." Among many other honors, Santana received Billboard Latin Music Awards' 2009 Lifetime Achievement Honor, Billboard's Century Award in 1996, and was the recipient of the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors Award. To date, Santana has won 10 Grammy awards, including a record-tying nine for a single project -- 1999's "Supernatural." Santana joined the Rolling Stones as one of only two music acts in Billboard history to score at least one Top Ten album in each decade from the 1960s on. He is known for hit songs such as "Black Magic Woman," Evil Ways," "Oye Coma Va," and "Smooth." Santana's new album, "Corazón," was released on May 6, 2014, and is a collaborative effort with the biggest names in Latin music. Four Winds New Buffalo's Silver Creek Event Center is a 1,500 seat, multi-use facility that is located next to the casino floor. In addition to hosting concerts, the 17,000 sq. ft. event center can be reconfigured to host a variety of meetings, special events, conferences, and banquets. |
