Sands delay project in Macau27 August 2010HONG KONG -- Las Vegas Sands have again delayed the opening of their Macau resort because of problems finding sufficient construction workers, Channel News Asia reported. Sands currently operate two casino resorts in Macau and this as yet uncompleted resort will be their third, the report said. The labour shortage problems stem from restrictions Macau introduced on "foreign workers" visas, Channel News Asia said. The resort is now proposed to open later in 2011, the report noted. |
