Sands China under investigation by Dept of Justice10 August 2012WASHINGTON, D.C. and MACAO -- Sands China Ltd is reported to be under investigation for possible allegations of bribery, Reuters reported. The Department of Justice along with the Securities and Exchange Comission are investigating the company in relation to allegations made by a former high-level employee, the report said. The employee alleges a questionable relationship with a well-connected Macau lawyer, according to the Reuters report. |
