Sam's Town Live! presents Images of the King Elvis festival1 June 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- "Images of the King" Las Vegas Elvis Festival is a spectacular four-day event that brings some of the best Elvis Presley tribute artists together to honor the music, life and legacy of "The King." Each night will present a different era in The King's storied career. In addition, a tribute artist contest will be held July 15 - 17, with the top artist taking home a grand prize of $5,000. After-hours free entertainment will be offered at Roxy's Lounge immediately following the conclusion of each night's events. Irv Cass, who was crowned Images of the King Champion in 1999, will serve as emcee during the weekend-long festival. WHEN: Thursday, July 14 8 p.m. – Elvis '56 (headlined by Cody Ray Slaughter) Friday, July 15 11 a.m. – Tribute Artist Contest (Round 1) 8 p.m. – Elvis Meets the Beatles (Headlined by Liverpool Legends, Cody Ray Slaughter and Ryan Pelton) Saturday, July 16 11 a.m. – Tribute Artist Contest (Round 2) 8 p.m. – Elvis in Las Vegas – "That's the Way" (headlined by Ben Portsmouth and Ryan Pelton) Sunday, July 17 2:30 p.m. – Tribute Artist Contest (Final Round) WHERE: Sam's Town Live! at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall.
