Sales clerk conned granny over winning lotto ticket1 August 2012OLDHAM, England -- A lottery sales clerk lied to a great grandmother about her winning lottery ticket and then attempted to claim her prize, the Press Association reported. Farrakh Nizzar was caught out however because the ticket had been purchased at a store where the ticket owner had a "clubcard" not the shop he claimed, the report said. Maureen Holt and her husband have now had their winning ticket and jackpot restored to them, while Farrakh Nizzar is awaiting sentencing for fraud, the Press Association reported.
