Rí Rá announces April dining and entertainment listings30 March 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rí Rá Las Vegas has released its dining and entertainment listings for April 2018. Dining Easter Specialty Menu: Rí Rá Las Vegas recreates the Easter dinner Irish grandmothers would make, offering a genuine Irish Easter dining experience on Sunday, 1 April from 10 a.m. until 2 a.m. The specialty menu includes delicious options including Honey Orange Whiskey Glazed Ham ($22), a thick cut, sweet and smoky pit ham served with brown-sugar-glazed carrots, boiled baby potatoes and crisp garlic snap peas; Salmon Boxty ($23), diced salmon sautéed with red onion and tomato in a warm boxty and topped with a dill cream sauce and served with champ and sautéed vegetables; Rosemary and Mint Roasted Leg of Lamb ($24), served with brown gravy, roasted red potatoes and sautéed green beans; or the Prime Rib Carvery ($29) featuring 12-ounce Ribeye, slow roasted and served with garlic green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and topped with a house Guinness au jus. In addition, Rí Rá Las Vegas will offer two Afternoon Tea menus, The Dunbrody Afternoon Tea ($24 per person) and The MacNean Afternoon Tea ($35 per person), available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Easter. Swedish Spritz: Available throughout April, Rí Rá will offer the sweet and zesty Swedish Spritz ($15), featuring Rekorderlig Swedish Cider – an imported, gluten-free, mango raspberry hard cider – mixed with orangey Aperol and garnished with fresh lemon. Toastie Week: The ultimate drinking sandwich – the grilled cheese – takes the spotlight Monday, 23 April through Sunday, 29 April at Rí Rá Las Vegas. In honor of Grilled Cheese Month, Rí Rá will offer Toastie Week with five unique, yet traditional, Irish grilled cheeses available, each served with choice of chips or salad, for $10 each. Choices include:
The Dunbrody Tea is Rí Rá’s traditional tea offering, served with delicate mismatched china and three-tiered trays. Guests can choose from a choice of freshly brewed tea, including Barry’s Gold Blend, Breakfast Decaf, Darjeeling, Organic Assam, Chamomile Lemon, Green Tea and a variety of floral teas. In addition, guests will receive an assortment of traditional finger foods, including a selection of finger sandwiches such as Ham & Tomato, Egg Mayo, Cheddar & Ballymaloe and Cucumber & Crème Fraiche. To top off the afternoon, guests will also receive made-to-order, homemade scones, served with fresh cream and Irish preserve, and a selection of decadent desserts. The MacNean Tea offers an elevated take on afternoon tea, curated to offer a luxurious feel as guests sip and savor throughout the afternoon. Though Rí Rá’s signature mismatched china and three-tiered serving trays will be used, guests will enjoy intricate and beautiful assortments of delicious. Tea selections include Barry’s Gold Blend, Breakfast Decaf, Darjeeling, Organic Assam, Chamomile Lemon, Green Tea and a variety of floral teas. In addition to freshly baked and homemade scones and desserts, guests will dine on a variety of decadent finger sandwiches, including Coronation Chicken, Goat Cheese & Peppers with almond walnut pesto, Smoked Salmon with Crème Fraiche and pickled onion and Ham & Caramelized Onions. English Premier League Breakfast Club Specials: During each morning game of the English Premier League (EPL) season, Rí Rá Las Vegas will host the EPL Breakfast Club from opening to 10 a.m. Guests can purchase a variety of dishes as they watch the morning match, including Rasher, Egg and Cheese ($9); Banger, Egg and Cheese ($9); American Breakfast ($11); and Irish Breakfast ($15). Vegas Golden Knights Specials: Rí Rá Las Vegas offers professional hockey fans a 15 percent discount off an entire meal for guests who wear a Vegas Golden Knights jersey or show tickets during game days throughout the month of April. Locals Lunch and Dinner Special: Rí Rá Las Vegas offers a locals 40% discount on lunch and dinner food items every Friday. Guests must present a valid Nevada ID to receive the discount. This special cannot be combined with other offers. Special events March Mayhem Viewing Parties: Rí Rá Las Vegas will be showing each matchup on screens throughout the pub during March Mayhem now through Monday, 2 April. While watching the best athletes in college basketball battle for the champion title, fans can sip on a wide range of imported and domestic beers and other spirits that pair perfectly with their Irish menu offerings. Entertainment Guests can enjoy live, authentic Irish music nightly during dinner and evening hours with many of the bands coming directly from Ireland. The Black Donnellys 3-5, 8, 10-13, 15, 17-19, 22-25, 26, 29 and 30 April at 8:45 p.m. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 April at 9 p.m. The Black Donnellys is a traditional/folk rock band consisting of Dave Browne and Dave Rooney. Browne, who is also a Guinness World Record holder for marathon guitar playing, plays mandolin and guitar, while Rooney, who is known for his unique voice, sings lead vocals. The band performs a fun selection of folk and traditional Irish songs that provide an entertaining introduction to the historical origins of Irish music. In October 2014, the band contributed to Rí Rá’s Guinness World Record for longest concert by multiple artists. John Windsor 2, 9 and 16 April at 8:45 p.m. A permanent entertainment fixture in Irish pubs throughout Las Vegas for more than a decade, John Windsor is a multi-talented performer who provides nonstop entertainment throughout his sets by blending guitar, harmonica and amazing vocals into one spectacular performance. Craic Haus 1 April at 8:45 p.m. Known as the pioneers of “Shamrockabilly,” Craic Haus brings high energy to their traditional acoustic Irish flair.
