Russian Gambling Industry Pulls In $6 Billion in Wagers23 August 2006MOSCOW, Russia -- As reported by Mos News: "Despite the fact that only 19 percent of the adult Russian population approve of casino slots, the Russian parliament said that the country's gambling industry has reached a size of over $6 billion in total wagers, mostly bankrolled by a few high rollers. "...A recent survey of people over the age of 18 revealed that only 19 percent approved of casino slots, while many favored an outright national ban on gambling.
