Rush Street Gaming Teams with Poker Pro Matt Glantz

8 January 2016

CHICAGO, Illinois -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Rush Street Gaming announced today that it has joined forces with professional poker player Matt Glantz to advise and further develop Rush Street’s poker portfolio. Full-service poker rooms at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia, Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh and the upcoming Rivers Casino in Schenectady will immediately benefit from Glantz’s experience and expertise. In addition, Glantz will serve as a producer and event manager for Rush Street Productions, owners of the popular Poker Night in America television and web series.

Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh looks to continue the growth of its robust schedule of poker tournaments and events, while SugarHouse prepares to open a permanent poker room early in 2016 as part of its property-wide $164 million expansion. Glantz will assist in the development, programming and promotion of all poker-related operations at each location, as well as Rivers Casino in Schenectady when that casino opens in 2017.

Additionally, as a producer and event manager, Glantz will be responsible for recruiting, coordinating and managing player talent for Poker Night in America. Poker Night in America airs on CBS Sports Network and can be found on most cable systems and online.

“Rush Street Gaming strives to offer the best poker experience for every type of player, from casual gamers to high-stakes players like Matt,” said Greg Carlin, CEO of Rush Street Gaming. “We’re excited to have Matt on our team to further improve our poker platform.”

As a player, Glantz specializes in high-stakes cash games and has achieved more than $6 million in professional earnings and six major tournament titles. A native of Lafayette Hill, Pa., Glantz has combined his passion for poker and his background in finance to become a respected ambassador and tireless promoter of the game. Glantz is currently a member of the Global Poker Index (GPI) Players Consulting Committee.

“I’m looking forward to joining the Rush Street team and working to enhance the Rush Street Gaming poker experience,” said Glantz.
