Roulette Player Wins Lawsuit24 June 2004SPAIN – As reported by the UK Guardian: "A Spanish judge has ordered a top casino to open its doors to a prolific gambler after it ruled that his successful and sophisticated betting system did not amount to cheating. "Gonzalo García-Pelayo won more than €1m (US$1.2 million) during a two-year run on the roulette table in the early 90s. Now, after a 10-year battle to clear his name, he has been handed a chance to return to the table. "The judge said there was nothing illegal in Mr García-Pelayo's approach, which used sophisticated computer modelling techniques to work out which numbers offered the best chance of winning.
