Rota concludes casino commission nominees hearings7 April 2008NORTH MARIANAS ISLANDS -- As reported by the Marianas Variety: "Rota Municipal Council concluded its public hearings on April 4 but not all of the five nominees to the casino gaming commission have submitted the required documents, according to Council Secretary Vicente M. Calvo. "He said while four nominees have already submitted their drug examination receipts, Ephrem S. Taimanao still has to undergo a drug test on Guam this week. "According to Calvo, Taimanao and Cuthbert Toves have already submitted their financial disclosure statements, but Melchor A. Mendiola, Diego M. Songao and Abraham M. Ogo have not. "The council is giving them until Friday to submit all the required documents, Calvo said..." |
