Rose's Bookies Not Likely Charged8 January 2004OHIO – As reported by the Cincinnati Post: "Even though Pete Rose named them as his bookies, the allegations are from so long ago that gambling charges likely can't be brought against Tommy Gioiosa, Paul Janszen or Ron Peters. "In Ohio, the statute of limitations on misdemeanor gambling crimes ranges from six months to two years. For felony gambling convictions, that limit is six years.
