"Rogue One" to open at IMAX Theater at Tropicana AC28 November 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- The all-new epic adventure from Lucasfilm, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – the first of the Star Wars standalone films – will open in 3-D at the IMAX Theatre at Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort on 16 December, with special pre-screenings on 15 December. Tickets are on sale now at the Tropicana website. The IMAX® release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of An IMAX 3-D Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (digital remastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX’s customized theater geometry and powerful digital audio, create a special environment that immerses the audience. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story centers on a group of unlikely heroes who, in a time of conflict, band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves. Two special pre-screenings will take place on Thursday, 15 December at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $18.
