Robber Hits Casino, Strikes Clerk with Gun10 May 2004MONTANA – As reported by the Great Falls Tribune: ``Police are looking for a man who robbed a Great Falls casino early Saturday and pistol-whipped a clerk. ``The clerk at the Riverboat Queen Casino, 1012 9th St. S., was returning from a trash bin behind the store around 1:20 a.m. when he looked up and saw the robber. ``Wearing a ski mask and pointing a black pistol, the robber forced the clerk to empty his pockets. He also stole an undetermined amount of cash from the safe and till, Sgt. Shane Sorensen said. ``At one point, the robber pistol-whipped the 30-year-old clerk under the left eye, causing an abrasion. ``…He described the robber as a Caucasian with "very bright" blue eyes and pale skin. He is approximately 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds and was wearing a bright blue, waist-length coat and black jeans…" |
