Rivers Casino Philadelphia to host Aunt Mary Pat

19 July 2021

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Get ready to laugh, hun. Everyone’s favorite aunt, Aunt Mary Pat, with her recognizable wig, five o’clock shadow and smeared mascara, will perform her engaging stand-up act at Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Wednesday, 15 September, at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, 23 July, and are $20. Guests who purchase tickets by Sunday, 1 August, will also receive a free VIP meet-and-greet with Aunt Mary Pat after the show.

The Delaware County viral video star describes her Aunt Mary Pat character show as a collection of stand-up comedy, improv, and variety performance. Aunt Mary Pat’s performance is part of the casino’s hilarious and growing comedy lineup.

“Hey, youse guys!” said Aunt Mary Pat, in her heavy Delco accent, “I'm a party girl, and we’re going to party at Rivers Casino like the Iggles just won another championship.”

“We’re thrilled to bring one of the city’s most notable comedians, Aunt Mary Pat, to Rivers this September,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “Her hilarious Philly catchphrases and quick wit will make for a fun night in The Event Center.”

Aunt Mary Pat first appeared on the comedy scene in 2018 when one of her videos went viral after the Eagle’s won pro football’s championship; her catch phrases have become synonymous with the Philadelphia region. Since then, she has performed more than 100 unique shows for thousands of people across the country.

In early 2019, Aunt Mary Pat released her debut comedy album “Talk of the Township,” which ranked No. 5 on the iTunes comedy charts, and also featured three No. 1 iTunes comedy singles. She has since gone on to release a successful Christmas album called “Mary Friggin Christmas,” and performed on her first national tour in 2020 called “The Fish Outta Wooder Tour.”

Other upcoming performances in The Event Center include comedians Kevin Nealon on Thursday, 5 Augist, at 8 p.m., and Jamie Kennedy on Friday, 27 August, at 7 p.m.
