Rivers Casino named one of Pittsburgh's top workplaces

27 August 2015

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino team members have once again voted their jobs among the best in Pittsburgh. Rivers has been named one of the “Top Workplaces” in the annual challenge presented by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The program recognizes the area’s top employers based on nominations and feedback from their own employees.

Rivers is ranked among employers in the “large company” category, defined as Pittsburgh businesses with 400 or more employees. Employees at each company were surveyed, and the results were analyzed by a third-party research firm, WorkplaceDynamics, to determine the rankings. Rivers Casino team members completed anonymous surveys that asked employees to be open and honest about their work environment, confidence in their managers and overall job satisfaction.

“It is an honor to work side-by-side with the best in the ‘Burgh,” said Craig Clark, general manager of Rivers Casino. “I want to personally thank all of the Rivers Casino team members for voting us one of the ‘Top Workplaces’ and for their daily contributions that make Rivers a great place to work.”

In 2014 and 2015, Rivers team members voted their casino one of the city’s “Best Places to Work” in the Pittsburgh Business Times rankings. Similar to “Top Workplaces,” the “Best Places to Work” program encourages employees to openly rank their place of business in a voluntary, anonymous survey that is evaluated by a third-party research organization.

Rivers was recognized in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s special “Top Workplaces 2015” supplement in its Aug. 27 issue. To view the complete list of 2015 “Top Workplaces” winners, visit the “Top Workplaces 2015” section of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette website.
