Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh closed until further notice

Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh announced in Thursday that it would be closing until further notice.

To comply with a new order from the Allegheny County Health Department, we will close on July 3, at 12:01am to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The health and well-being of our Team Members, guests and the community is our number one priority. pic.twitter.com/7eLEwRefHU

According to social media posts, the decision was made in order to "comply with a new order from the Allegheny County Health Department."

"Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will close on July 3, 2020, at 12:01 A.M., to help slow the spread of COVID-19. All bars, restaurants, nightclubs, casinos, taverns and events with 25 people or more are closing for one week. The health and well-being of our Team Members, guests and the community is our number-one priority."
