Rivers Casino in Des Plaines reopened today

1 July 2020

Rivers Casino in Des Plaines reopened its doors today at noon to the public. The Illinois property posted several new protocols that it will follow on its website, some of which are listed below.

Slots

You will notice a few changes on the slot floor such as the following:
  • We've removed several chairs from the floor and have strategically powered down some slot machines to allow for greater social distancing;
  • We are installing plexiglass dividers at various location to allow all slot machines to remain available for play on those particular slot banks; and
  • We have expanded the High Limit Slot Area to provide both greater social distancing and greater overall comfort while playing your favorite games.
Tables

As has been the case at the majority of casinos which have opened, we will be limiting table game participation to three players per table and/or side of the table.

We will also be installing plexiglass dividers between dealers and players at some of our table games.

Hand sanitizer will be available at every single table game.

Chips, tables, and chairs will be cleaned and disinfected frequently.

Food and Beverage

Flipt is ready to serve you with your traditional dining experience.

Mian’s menu will be available for takeout options.

Coffee Spot is still proudly serving Starbucks as well as your favorite grab and go items.

Lotus and BetRivers are ready to serve your favorite drinks.

Casino Floor Beverage service is also available.

Canopy Buffet and Hugo’s will remain closed at this time. Please check back for updates.
