Rivers Casino football promo winner takes home $107,00027 January 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino's $250K Hometown First Down promotion wrapped up with a finale drawing this weekend, when Stephen P. of Pittsburgh took home the grand prize of $107,000 cash. All football season, Rivers Casino guests have been earning entries to the Jan. 23 finale drawing for a chance to win their share of the cash. The promotion also featured a weekly game centered on Pittsburgh's hometown team throughout the football season. Guests could earn multiple entries to the finale drawing for every first down the team scored during each game of the regular season. Each week, guests could swipe at the Rivers kiosks for free to receive entries and win a top prize of $7,000 cash. There were more than 1,000 cash winners throughout the promotion, totaling more than $400,000. "The excitement for this drawing has been building all season long," said Craig Clark, general manager of Rivers Casino. "Congratulations to Stephen for taking home the $107,000 prize." The prizes don't stop there. Other cash prizes were handed out to 99 winners on the final day of the promotion leading up to the finale drawing at 8 p.m. |
