Rivers Casino announces All-Star Bands Concert17 January 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino & Resort announced today an All-Star Bands Concert that will bring seven performances to the Rivers Casino Event Center for one night of high-energy entertainment. The special 10 February showcase is part of the property's First Anniversary Celebration and will treat guests to some of the most popular acts that have played at the casino over the past year. From 6 p.m. to midnight, guests will be treated to sets by Audio Riot, Lifespeed, Breakdown, Mirk, Kick and Big Eyed Phish, with DJ Trumastr spinning tunes during set changes. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. in the Event Center. "We've had live performances almost every night of our first year of operation, so it's appropriate that we're bringing back some of the most popular acts for a night of celebration," said Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady General Manager Rob Long. "Combined with everything else that's happening on property for our anniversary weekend, Rivers is absolutely going to be the place to be." Tickets are on sale now for $20 at the website as well at the Proctors Box Office and Proctors. Rush Rewards cardholders are eligible for one complimentary ticket, available at Rush Rewards. The Rivers Casino Event Center is steps from the Rivers gaming floor, as well as The Landing Hotel, which will be welcoming guests for the entirety of the anniversary weekend. The All-Star Bands Concert is part of an entire month of promotions, events and celebrations to mark Rivers' one-year anniversary on 8 February.
