Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady releases March promotions27 February 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady will be kicking off the month of March by giving one Rush Rewards Players Club member $10,000 in cash. The drawing, which will take place on 1 March, is the culmination of the Rush to Rewards online scratch off promotion, which was the first of many Rush Rewards promotions and launched before Rivers' opening. Everyone who played Rush to Rewards online instantly received instant free slot play or comp dollars, which were available upon the activation of the player's Rush Rewards account. The lucky winner of $10,000 does not need to be present for the drawing, and will be notified to pick up their prize at the casino. "Providing a top quality guest experience is priority number one at Rivers, and our aggressive promotional offerings is part of fulfilling that goal," said Rivers Casino and Resort General Manager Mary Cheeks. "We've seen a tremendous response to Rush Rewards, and we expect that to continue in the coming weeks and months as we continue to roll out exciting new giveaways, contests and comps." Cash won't be the month's only prize – Rivers will also be giving away a new Range Rover Evoque on 25 March. Starting 11 March, Rush Rewards guests will receive one entry for every 10 tier points earned. On the day of the drawing, between noon and 6:45 p.m., guests must swipe their Rush Rewards card at a promotional kiosk to activate the entries. Drawings will take place hourly from 1 to 6 p.m. on 25 March, with four winners each hour. Winners will walk away with $200 in free slot play – and a $100 Sunoco gas card if they report to the Rush Rewards center within five minutes of their name being announced. The drawing for the Range Rover Evoque will take place at 7 p.m., and one winner will be able to drive away in a brand new car, or $25,000 cash. The winner must be present to claim the car or cash prize. That's not the only action at Rivers Casino & Resort this coming month:
Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady features a 50,000-square-foot gaming floor with 1,150 slot machines, 67 gaming tables and 15 poker tables.
