Rhode Islanders May Vote on Casino

RHODE ISLAND – As reported by the Providence Business News: "Members of the House of Representatives introduced legislation Wednesday to place a constitutional amendment on the November 2006 ballot that gives Rhode Islanders the right to vote on a Narragansett Indian Casino.

"The legislation, if approved by the General Assembly, would place in Rhode Islanders' hands the decision as to whether a Narragansett Indian Casino should be approved in the town of West Warwick. .."
