Rhode Island to Decide on Casino Ballot30 July 2004PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island – As reported by the Providence Journal: "Placing a casino question on the November ballot, passing the state's $5.9-billion budget and confirming a new justice to the state's highest court are among the agenda items for today's special General Assembly session. "…The House is expected to override Carcieri's veto of a bill asking voters in November if they want a West Warwick casino, run by Harrah's Entertainment with the Narragansett Indian tribe getting a share of the profits.
