Rhode Island: Newport Grand question will go to a ballot15 February 2012PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A bill was introduced to the House of Representatives yesterday that will let voters decide on the future of the Newport Grand slot parlour, the Providence Journal reported. The bill, on which the public will vote in a November referendum, proposes that the Newport Grand slot parlour would introduce table games, thus making it a casino, the report made note. |
