Revised gambling bill greets criticism over horse track protection22 February 2012FRANKFORT, Kentucky -- There has been some criticism of Gov. Steve Beshear's revised gambling Bill 151, the Courier-Journal reported. The revised bill allows for seven casinos but does not specify any will be at racetracks, the report said. The bill also allows that no casino be permitted within 60 miles of a racetrack, which again has prompted opposition since it limits the areas where the casinos could be situated, the Courier-Journal said. |
