"But now a major security review is under way at the Gold Coast's Jupiters Casino after a group of Chinese gambling high-rollers allegedly used hidden cards to fleece more than $750,000. "…Casino sources say Jupiters' playing cards are distinctively branded and kept under tight security, but the Chinese allegedly smuggled in cards and 'palmed' them. "…Another source speculated that the gang might have purchased Jupiters playing cards from the casino gift shop and 'doctored' them to disguise the hole that is punched in non-gaming cards as a security measure…" |
