Revel Entertainment names AC resort construction manager

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Revel Entertainment Group, LLC ("Revel" or the "Company") has named Tishman Construction Corporation ("TCC") as Construction Manager of the Company's resort development project on twenty acres of beachfront land along the famous Boardwalk in Atlantic City.

The twenty-acre Revel Entertainment development site is one of the largest, most uniform and contiguous beachfront properties in Atlantic City and is located at the northern end of the boardwalk bordered by Oriental, New Jersey and Metropolitan avenues. The site features over 1,000 feet of beach frontage.

Founded in 1898 and considered one of the world's most successful and innovative builders, Tishman Construction Corporation has been responsible for the construction of over 430 million square feet of all types of buildings. Tishman has extensive experience in managing the construction of premier resort destinations and luxury hotels, including the 600-acre Epcot Center in Walt Disney World, The St. Regis Hotel in New York, the Westin New York in Times Square, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts in Florida, the Westin Rio Mar Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Puerto Rico, the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, and the current 76-acre mega-development called CityCenter for MGM MIRAGE in Las Vegas.

In addition, in Atlantic City Tishman oversaw construction of the new Convention Center, the renovation and restoration of the famed Boardwalk Hall, Harrah's Atlantic City marina expansion, and the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel.

Throughout the construction process of other major Atlantic City projects, Tishman has successfully implemented programs to include minority, women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises.
