Retiring state police chief appointed head gambling control board2 May 2011AUGUSTA, Maine -- A Maine State Police Col. will retire this week and also start work as the new executive director of Maine Gambling Control Board, according to Bangor Daily News. Patrick Fleming served the Maine State Police for 27 years, including as chief of police for the past 4 years, the report said. Fleming was described as familiar with the state's gaming regulations, in the Bangor Daily News report. |
