Resort Offers Rooms to Evacuees

PECHANGA INDIAN RESERVATION, California -- As reported by the Californian: ``Pechanga Resort & Hotel officials announced Monday that the hotel would offer free rooms to people who have been displaced from their homes because of the Mountain fire.

``The hotel is opening at least 50 of the resort's 522 rooms to victims of the fires. Documentation from the American Red Cross needs to be presented at the registration desk to get a room.

``...A free seven-night stay is offered to residents whose homes were destroyed in the fire, and for evacuees, rooms will be offered on a night-to-night basis, said Butch Murphy, a tribal councilman..."
