Residents Against Proposed Vancouver Casino

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – As reported by the Province: "False Creek resident Linda Lauritzen was not happy about what she learned yesterday at an open house about the casino proposed for her Vancouver neighborhood.

"The Downtown Casino at the Plaza of Nations, a joint operation of the Royal Diamond and Grand Casino groups, is aiming for 600 slots, 60 gaming tables and a cafe.
