Reserve Renamed Fiesta Henderson

The company bought The Reserve in January from Ameristar Casinos for $70 million, and promptly announced plans to retheme and rename the jungle-themed hotel-casino at the intersection of Lake Mead Drive and U.S. Highway 95.

The Fiesta Henderson will have a a festive, south-of-the border, theme, like the original Fiesta in North Las Vegas. Station Casinos executives expect the two Fiesta properties to attract a significant number of value-conscious Las Vegas gamblers.

The $12 million retheming project got under way in July, and is slated for completion by mid-December. A four-day celebration to herald the changeover is slated to begin Dec. 26 and will conclude with a 10-minute fireworks show at 8 p.m., Dec. 29.
