Report predicts Marylanders will spend big at W. Va. casino8 October 2012MARYLAND -- Maryland should expand gambling and keep its gamblers on home soil, the Baltimore Business Journal reported. It's estimated that Marylanders could spend up to $1.5 billion traveling to West Virginia to gamble during the next 10 years, the report said. For Maryland Jobs & Schools, a group lobbying for expanded gambling in Maryland, have published a report that opening a new casino would benefit the state, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. |
