Gaming NewsRed Lake Band of Chippewa Indians extend casino closures30 March 2020The Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians announced that its casinos (Seven Clans Casino Red Lake, Seven Clans Casino Warroad and Seven Clans Casino Thief River Falls) will be extending the temporary closures for another two weeks. Below is a statement from the tribe's website. " Seven Clans Casinos is extending our closure through April 13, 2020. Seven Clans Casinos Management Team & the Red Lake Tribal Council are united in the effort to prevent the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19. (Although, there have been NO reported cases from any of our properties). All Seven Clans Casinos will remain temporarily CLOSED with a potential open date of April 13, 2020. We are committed to the health and well-being of our Red Lake Nation tribal members, communities, our valued patrons and most of all our employees. As the new tentative date approaches, our Management Team & Red Lake Tribal Council will re-evaluate the situation and we will update, as needed, should there be any changes.
We urge people to follow guidance from the CDC and the World Health Organization:
During this closure period, we will do our absolute best to keep our patrons updated via our Website and Facebook Pages. If we should decide to open sooner, or feel it is necessary to extend this temporary closure, we will update social media and website as soon as possible. We feel this is the best decision for all.
