Rank acquisition of Gala approved by Competition Commission12 April 2013LONDON, England -- Rank Group have now been cleared by the Competition Commission to acquire Gala Coral Group, Financial News reported. The deal had been referred to the Competition Commission by the Office of Fair Trading for investigation, the report said. Among the conditions for the deal were that Global Gaming Ventures purchase Rank's cold licence in Edinburgh, according to the Financial News report.
