SOUTH AFRICA – As reported by IOL News: "A lucky gamble at a Durban casino paid off more than a Cape Town man was expecting in 2006. After losing his job, home and wife, a 47-year-old Cape Town man was looking at a bleak New Year.

"But a chance stop at Suncoast Entertainment World in Durban proved to be rewarding when he hit the jackpot, winning just over R1-million.

"Isak Marais from Table View in Cape Town told the Daily News that he had been unemployed since November after his company retrenched him.
