Racing Commission maintains rules26 August 2015TEXAS -- The Texas Racing Commission voted yesterday to stick to its rules over "historical racing", the Houston Press reported. Historical racing concerns previous run races being simulcasted, the report said. Historical racing has proved controversial and provoked disagreement between the Texas Racing Commission and Legislative Budget Board who are responsible for approving the former's budget, the Houston Press reported. Horsemen overwhelmingly support maintaining the historical racing rules, the report noted. |
