Racing commission could issue Instant Racing licenses in months11 May 2011FRANKFORT, Kentucky -- An ongoing court case will not preclude regulators from considering Instant Racing installation applications, the Courier-Journal reported. Instant Racing allows gamblers to bet on previous races and, somewhat, resembles a slot machine in its design, the report explained. There is a court case challenging the game, but the regulation process was passed this week by a legislative committee, now the regulations must go before a "panel of legislators" to decide on them, the Courier-Journal said. |
