Racecourse Media Group appoints Roger Hall as Independent Non-Executive Director

6 October 2026

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Racecourse Media Group has appointed Roger Hall as an Independent Non-Executive Director, further strengthening the Board with extensive international expertise across sports media, broadcasting and technology.

Roger brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in the global sports media industry, having held executive and board roles across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. He has built a strong reputation for driving growth, innovation and commercial success in some of the sector's most recognized businesses.

Most recently, Roger served as Chief Executive Officer of sports technology company uniqFEED, where he led the transformation of the business into a leading provider of virtual advertising solutions for sports rights holders and broadcasters. He continues to serve as an adviser to the company's board.

His previous roles include Managing Director of beIN SPORTS in the Middle East and North Africa, where he oversaw a business operating across 23 countries and 20 sports channels, as well as senior leadership positions with Setanta Sports in the UK, North America and Asia-Pacific. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Executive of the North American Sports Network (NASN), Europe's first dedicated American sports channel.

Roger said: "I am delighted to join the Board of Racecourse Media Group, which plays a vital role in maximizing the value and reach of racing's media rights, while investing back into the sport.

"Having spent my career working at the intersection of sports rights, broadcasting, technology and international distribution, I am looking forward to supporting the Board and executive team as they continue to develop new opportunities for racecourses, rights holders and fans both in the U.K. and around the world."

Conor Grant, Outgoing Chair of RMG, said: "Roger's experience across some of the world's leading sports broadcasting organizations, together with his global network and commercial insight, will be invaluable as RMG continues to grow in an increasingly competitive and fast-moving media landscape. We are delighted to welcome Roger to the Board."

Roger will replace Scott Smith, whose term as an Independent Non-Executive Director concluded on 1 October.

Conor added: "I would like to sincerely thank Scott for his valuable contribution to RMG over the past three years. His expertise has been greatly appreciated by fellow directors and the executive team alike, and we wish him every success for the future."

RMG recently announced the appointments of Nigel Railton as its new Chair, who also started his role on October 1, and Andrew Demaria, who joins the executive team as its first Chief Content Officer.

Last week, RMG also announced that it had agreed long-term extensions for the audio-visual and data rights of 33 British racecourse shareholders.
