Racecourse Media Group appoints Andrew Demaria as Chief Content Officer

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Racecourse Media Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Demaria as its first Chief Content Officer.

Andrew joins RMG on 6 October, following a distinguished media career spanning more than 25 years, including senior leadership positions at CNN and NBCUniversal, where he built audiences at scale, launched award-winning digital brands and led content, commercial and digital transformation across news, sport and entertainment.

As Chief Content Officer, Andrew will oversee content strategy, audience development, digital growth, data and insights, marketing integration and content partnerships, helping to drive subscriber growth, audience engagement and commercial performance across the business.

During more than 16 years at CNN, Andrew helped build and lead a number of its most successful digital brands, including CNN Travel and CNN Style, serving latterly as VP & Managing Editor, CNN Digital International. He subsequently joined NBCUniversal as VP, Executive Creative Director, where he led on global commercial content, events, brand strategy and other initiatives across its sport, news and entertainment portfolio.

Based in London and previously Hong Kong, he has built and led teams across multiple markets and languages, delivering for audiences and partners across the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
